As things have shifted on a global scale, many business, practices and healthcare workers have started to look into a new way of offering services to the public. Telemedicine, Telehealth or Virtual Consultations are a way to continue healthcare despite the challenges of being socially responsible and staying inside. It's a compromise many people are making.

We can support each other by showing up, simply, in a new way. That's why I've headed online. Many of my patients, concerned for their care were wondering: what do we do now? This is one solution to continue care by offering multiple modalities through the use of modern technology.

If you're unfamiliar with how to do this, a simple google search will help you find an easy way to connect to a practitioners. There are many ways to do live, face to face sessions with a medical professional. WhatsApp, GoogleHangouts, or Skype require accounts, while Zoom is when a practitioner simply sends you a link and you can instantly join the video call for your session.

Practice with your family, friends or co-workers. Still thinking to yourself "How the heck am I going to figure this out?" Well, a colleague shared that she had a patient who was Quadriplegic (no use of any limbs) figure out how to do online sessions. So can you.

I encourage you to take some time and explore your options. We need each other now more than ever, and it's important to continue your healthcare.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and I'll see you online!
